When Quality Care Counts
Hi Jessica, I just wanted to thank you for all your help, we have just received notification we got 4 years, and no findings, Chris
And thank you for all the effort and hard work that you put in to keep us up to date, I for one would be lost without it! Kim
Congratulations to you, Jessica!!!
More power and all the best.
You are truly amazing.
Thanks a lot for all these things that you have done.
‘Twas really a tremendous help for all of us. Lou
Thank you Jessica for another excellent newsletter and for all the time and effort that you put into the sector, you really are an inspiration.
Your words are so important and have made me stop at this busy time of year and reflect on what really matters - family and friends and the wonderful place we live. Things can change so quickly.
So my wish for you is that you have a very Merry Christmas and you can find time to relax and recharge for the coming year.
I’ll look forward to working alongside you next year.
Kind regards, Julie
Thank you again for the very informative and interesting newsletter. Always looking forward to it with lots of tips and information to help the sector. Maria
We had no corrective actions from the over 40 policies that I sent prior to audit, so that was a great start. And the good news kept coming as the two auditors here could find nothing to pull us up on, so we have no corrective actions. A lot of that success can be attributed to your policies, as they give us the structural frame work to work from.
I have just read your newsletter and just wanted to acknowledge your insertion of our award information. We so appreciate your continuing support Jessica and for distributing good news stories. We hear so much through other avenues that isn’t always helpful. Your newsletters continue to be read worthy and give a lift to the work we do.
Thank you very much Jessica
Have a great day
Thanks Jessica, excellent Newsletter again, I always get something from these.
I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much I personally appreciate the tireless work you do, and I know that you are always available for advice. I find your continued drive and motivation to help the sector with the aim of improving the quality of life for both the providers and residents very inspirational. Thank you for that.
I still hear positive comments from staff about the last in-service you held for us. Now that doesn’t happen very often for in-services!
Some lovely feedback I received today which I would like to share: Thank you Marilyn for taking the time to let me know
"I am delighted to say we passed our certification audit yesterday with absolutely no findings 100%. If it wasn't for your Quality Programme I don't think I'd be saying this now. Implementing this was the best thing I ever did. The auditors were very impressed. I just wanted to share this with you and thank you for your support. As long as we continue following your programme I have no doubt we should pass again with flying colours!"
I’ve said it before, but you can never give compliments too often I think – your newsletter is just really really great. So useful and full of useful practical information. Everyone here looks forward to reading it.
We can't say it often enough! Thank you again for a great newsletter. We are always looking out for it and we have been able to implement many of your brilliant ideas and tips. Please do not stop writing them as it is the best! You are one special lady to do this and so many other things for aged care. You are on my speed dial!
Many many thanks
Interesting as always.
Thanks Jessica- always lovely to read your newsletter- it has such a proactive and positive take on things- thanks for being you!!!!!!
Thank you for sending your newsletter, it is so informative and always a great read. Please continue to do a lovely job, I really appreciate it.
Thank you, Jasmine
As always, superb and relevant knowledge imparted. Your commitment is to be applauded.
Otherwise I will look forward, as always, to your informative publications. You are an enlightened and professional support to the whole sector, a fact of which I am sure you are aware!
Kind regards and thanks
Hi Jessica, thank you so much for forwarding this to me, this is very appropriate for our rest home. I do appreciate and value your monthly newsletters, they are my Bible I work from! I have introduced it to many RN's to keep on track with audit requirements, it's so helpful.
Kind regards Marilyn
Thank you for all the wonderful information/updates you do so very well all the year round. Hope you also have a relaxing rest over the Christmas period and a very Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for your hard work and pure dedication to the industry. I cannot do without your expertise, help, friendship and laughter. You are extremely valued and cared about.
Just wanted to say a big ‘thank you’....although I have many years of management experience in oncology, I am relatively new to management of an aged residential care facility, and the updates and information that you share are a huge help to me as I navigate the compliance and the intricacies of this industry.'
Congratulations on reaching 60 !!
Thank you for your concise and informative newsletters I do find them useful and often you have highlighted topics that we are already discussing
Congratulations on your spreading fame! Your newsletter is really useful and there is something in each one that I can use.
Can I just feedback that as a CQM I utilise your information in your newsletters often..the information is all relevant and has become part of my clinical day for my clinical managers 3 times per year…Topics are always relevant and a reminder to keep abreast with current legislation
We’ve never met, but I just thought I’d write and say how much I appreciate your newsletter. There is always something useful and interesting in it and it is very practical. I really appreciate your philosophy of sharing information freely as well. Another thing I appreciate, it is easy to read on line – I don’t have to print it out (save paper, save the planet!). So thanks.
I found the article on Healthcert Decision tool BRILLIANT !!
An excellent resource information on some of the ins and outs of what is expected of us and the facility.
Look forward to the next month's issue
Thank you for your newsletter, our Director forwards this on to us each time and I always enjoy reading what you have to pass on to us. I don't think there is one newsletter where I have not learned something new. Keep up the great work.
I just wanted to take the time to say a big thank you for your newsletter - I never fail to get something out of it. You have certainly captured the grassroots of care - it is those little things that mean so much to those for whom we have the privilege of caring for on a day to day basis. It is refreshing to read something that looks at the clients and is not focused on the money side of matters. When all said & done we are here to care about the people - while the bank balance is important sometimes it just needs to take second place.
Thank you for caring & focusing us on what really matters.
Thank you so much for helping me to understand how to "close the loop". I am able to collate and analyze my data and have instigated a number of quality improvements. We are a lot more proactive rather than reactive and are using the internal audits how they are supposed to be used. A lot more fun to do them as staff notice the positive changes. Thank you for your patience in teaching me.
Thank you for your newsletters and valuable information you include in them
Magnificent website. A lot of useful information here. I am sending it to a few friends.
Whenever I am stuck or need confirmation I contact Jessica. She is on my speed dial. If I leave a message I can rely on a reply the same day. Services like this are hard to find these days and we are lucky to have Jessica!?
I have just been through certification audit and received the following comment on exit interview report "Quality and risk system imbedded" This should be a good endorsement for your system. They (auditor) also liked your newsletters and how you are providing an external review of the system from the comments you receive from facilities that are using it.
Thank you Jessica for all the wonderful quality management support over the years. The quality programme and your assistance has enabled me to manage the quality programme and all external audits without having to contract or employ experts. The latest certification audit resulted in a four year certification period with all fully attained criteria. This we could not have achieved without your programme and support
“The level of service at Jelica Ltd is fantastic. Having been a customer for many years, I am consistently impressed by Jessica's professionalism and knowledge. Thank you!”
“In this day and age, it’s hard to find somebody you can trust, who knows the complexity of the sector and who is always there when you need advice. Jelica Ltd was recommended to me by a friend, and now I know why – the quality of service I received from Jessica was outstanding. Keep up the good work!”
"I rely on Jessica for anything to do with quality and auditing. She is a great educator and is able to visualise things for my staff who will always come when they know Jessica is presenting. They often comment that Jessica can make learning fun!"
"I know if I have a question Jessica will give me the answer instantly. If I need a tool or a policy it will be in my inbox before my conversation has ended. Unbelievable service. Jessica is a great asset to our sector".
"Jessica is as honest and straight up as they come!!"
Feedback on the newsletters:
"I appreciate your newsletters and often run off articles for my RN’s, or note that caregivers read an article. I appreciate management articles very much, with thanks,"
"I love the newsletter you put out and look forward to receiving it. The colour on it makes me want to read it straight away as some plain documents tend to look boring and don’t entice me to read them as quickly. Keep up the great work."
As usual your newsletters are extremely encouraging and always full of good information. The Annual Reviews and setting up of Quality Initiatives is a real good brain jerker ...do you have a form as an annual review which covers everything and also I would love a copy of your calendar for noting 'required responsibilities'
I have just completed my annual report on infection control and found your tips really helpful – thanks. I am sure that the tips on the other reviews will be very useful as well.
Thank you for your informative and interesting newsletters, Keep up the good work
